Ed's Chesprocott Region Blog: Even With Mother Nature Someone has to be First

Even With Mother Nature Someone has to be First

The Colors of Fall are Starting

As I was driving up to the center of Prospect CT there was a flash of color that just seemed to stand out.  Just off the center of town, one of the oak trees near McGrath Park Pond has started to flash it's brilliant orange. It is in such a visible spot that others would be able to see the colors as well.

Falls Colors are starting

It won't be long before the rest of the trees show their colors as well, but this one just wanted to get  a jump on the rest of them.

My favorite fall color, Ed! I have a tree in front of my home that I look out on from my office and each year it turns a briliant red-orange. I love seeing it every year.

Gorgeous shot, it so nice to see that appear.  When we lived in Napa, we had a view of the hills, and we would begin to see autumn colors start at the top of the hill.  I loved it.  A

The orange ones are so dynamic and rich. I am ready for them to change. Bring them on.

Ed much of the same down my way.  Most of the trees are still all green, but then pops up one odd ball here and there that has completely turned color like the one in your picture.

Good morning Ed. I have a tree like that in my back yard. You're right: someone has to be first. Nice shot.

Ed, the East coast does have the best Fall colors, and saw the beginnings a couple of years ago!  Just beautiful!

Hello Ed Silva

How gorgeous!  The trees here aren't ready to turn yet, we are still in the high 80's and low 90's...I think Fall has forgotten us here in Dallas.

What a beautiful photo Ed. My favorite thing about fall is the changing colors.

That is so beautiful, Ed. I guess there's even competition in nature.
